Originally inspired by the Cantonese salt and pepper spice mix for deep fried seafood dishes like the iconic salt and pepper calamari, this savoury spice salt has flourished dishes on the Lee Ho Fook menus since 2013 - a balanced mix of 8 (ba - Chinese for the number 8) fragrant (xiang Chinese for scent/fragrance) - a spiced salt that draws from the earthy and sweet spices with the subtle and balanced salinity of Murray river pink salt - this is a must to add onto any deep fried preparation.
